Lake Weekend

We had an awesome time last weekend at the lake with friends! We went with two other couples that also have little babies. And the babies are each 2 months apart: Andrew is 8 mos, Mia 10 mos and Sydney's 1st birthday is this weekend! We had fantastic weather, good fellowship and a tough loss for UGA. The ladies had a nice lunch and shopping on Friday - we all found goodies at a shop that personalizes baby stuff (dangerous!!!). We literally could have spent all day there. The men golfed Saturday morning, and we all watched the game. The townhouse we stayed at was beautiful too, so we hope to book the same place next year. The kiddos had fun playing together. Mia hijacked Sydney's walking toy (Sydney doesn't need it as she is walking!!). Mia got some good practice with the toy though and now she will use the walker we have for her at home (thank goodness! Mom & Dad were tired of walking her around). I can't believe Fall is in full swing. We had hoped to go to the pumpkin patch this morning but Mia has a runny nose (again!). We think it's allergies or something since her eyes are itchy and watery. Hopefully it will pass soon, but we thought it best not to try and do a photo shoot amongst the pumpkins and then she'd do a huge sneeze and have stuff hanging out of her nose.....well, you understand. Maybe next Saturday!
