Cool Kitchen Tip


I've been meaning to post this since it's such a nifty idea that cuts down on waste! My friend Angela lent me several Food Magazines and this tip was included in one of them. I took a picture of the page so you can read it, but basically, it suggests freezing the remainder of a can of food in ice cube trays for future use. I made some chipotle mayonaise for a cookout we had and only needed a teaspoon of adobo sauce - so I froze the rest! It also says to line your tray with plastic wrap if the ingredient may stain it. Hope this helps someone else too :) Now to find other recipes that require adobo sauce....
