I know it's technically not summer until June 20th, but it has been hot in Hotlanta since May, so that's when I say summer began :)
We took a short beach trip to St. Simon's Island at the beginning of May (only there 2 days). Mia and I basically tagged along with Matt who had a work event there. Mia, being her usual, cautious self, did not want to get into the water - pool or ocean. But she did enjoy running all over the beach and digging in the sand (a little). We had never been to St. Simon's, but would definitely go back. The beach was not crowded and the restaurants that were recommended were delicious! If you ever visit, go to Barbara Jean's for the best crab cakes you will ever have. And 4th of May Cafe is the perfect breakfast place :)

We've also been kickin it around the neighborhood - mostly going to the park and taking walks. Our pool is open but the rain has squelched our plans to go everytime. Mia loves playing with her friend Olivia who lives a street away. Here's some pictures of our trip and daily life stuff :)
Next on the agenda is another short trip....but this time it's to Vegas! And Mia will be staying at home! Sniffle, sniffle...
