- Ball (which she loves to kick)
- Bird (she says it when she hears them singing outside)
- Bath (loves her baths from Dada)
- Baby (she has several she carries around)
- Shoes & Cheese (these sound very similar when she says them!)
- Night-Night (sounds like "Ni Ni")
- And my favorite "I do dat". I think she is saying something along the lines of "I do that". She uses it to indicate that she wants to do something, wants more of something (like food) or wants to take something from you (like my cell phone). We are calling it her first sentence although, I'm really not sure what she's saying! We are working on our "manners" too, so she will occassionally say "peas" (please), but only after I tell her to :)
Our days fly by with walks outside, trips to the grocery store, playing at the park in our neighborhood, Storytime at the library, playgroup with her friends, coloring with her crayons, pushing her babies in her little stroller, hiding in her cabinet in the kitchen and pretending to talk on the phone. And ANYTHING can be a phone to her: a tv remote, measuring cup, wooden block, her shoe - you name it, she's held it up to her ear and said "HEY!". It's hilarious. The funny thing is, I have never considered myself a big phone talker, but apparently I have made an impression.. Here's some pics from the past few months. Ni-Ni!
A fairly recent picture from when the weather was beautiful outside!
Eating her Southwest Chicken Soup - her new fav!
She likes to imitate whatever I do. Guess I make a lot of lists...
#1 on my list should be pick up the family room - good grief!
Pushing her stroller

I love the picture of her painting! I remember getting dressed in old shirts as our smocks to paint :)
